Our client, a leading Private Hospitals & Multi-Specialty Clinics Group with Several Healthcare facilities across the UAE and running an expanding fleet of Ambulances, are looking to hire:
Paramedic
Job Code – TRC-110
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
Holders of a valid DCAS License (Dubai Corporate Ambulance Services) - need only apply
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Graduate Degree in Medical Sciences
Additional degree or diploma in paramedic science or paramedic practice.
Preferably with a full driving license with a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification experience as a paramedic.
Valid ACLS / PALS Certification.
Applicant should be able to join immediately
DUTIES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage emergency teams.
Do CPR.
Shock hearts.
Read a diagnostic electrocardiogram (ECG)
Apply transcutaneous pacemakers to control heart arrhythmias.
Triage victims.
Administer around 30-40 different medications.
Support breathing with tubes and ventilation devices.
File incident reports, clean the ambulance, maintain equipment and other medical stock.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Apt at handling high-stress situations.
Good and clear communication, interpersonal and instructional skills are essential to calming everyone down and getting on with treating the injured.
Ability & experience in making quick diagnoses and administering immediate medical care to victims of accidents, violence and sudden illnesses, such as cardiac arrests or strokes.
Ability to provide quick, controlled transfers to healthcare facilities, keeping patients stable while in the transit through medical expertise and using advanced equipment.
Working in tandem with other qualified paramedics and ambulance technicians.
Adequate training in advanced driving skills, emergency medical procedures and the administration of medication.
