Description
We are currently looking for AMET Specialist Nurses who have experience working in Aero-Medical Evacuation Teams within the Humanitarian sector.
Qualifications & Skills:
A first level degree as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of three (3) years’ postgraduate continuous progressively clinical experience in general nursing, intensive care, emergency medicine, and health administration.
Postgraduate training in Intensive/ Critical Care Nursing/ Anesthesia/Emergency Care Nursing with a minimum of three (3) years’ post qualification experience.
Training in Aviation Nursing
Currently registered and licensed to practice nursing and apply specialty without supervision in own country or another UN member state
Fluency in English or French
Experience in providing treatment under night flying conditions and with medical equipment compatible with NVG (Night Vision Goggles)
Certification in PHTLS (or equivalent) and ACLS
