Your chartered goal
Qualified medical care of guests and crew on board
Holding consultations, care of guests in the in-patient hospital area, and provision of on-call service for guests and crew members
First point of contact for the captain with regard to medical and hygiene issues
Regular organization of ongoing first-aid training for the crew; ensuring proper organizational and technical hospital operations in conjunction with the landside Medical Department
Involvement in ship-side reporting with regard to medical, legal and organizational issues
Your previous ports of call
Training as a specialist for general medicine, surgery, internal medicine or anesthesia and sound knowledge of general medicine
Training as an emergency doctor (specializing in emergency medical services) and experience of acute care and emergency medicine
X-ray qualification, verified completion of a valid radiation protection course, knowledge of ultrasound diagnostics; additional qualification in diving medicine desirable
Very good knowledge of English and German, confident MS Office skills
Strong sense of responsibility, sensitivity, and ability to work on your own initiative
