Regis Resources Limited (ASX: RRL) is an ASX 200, Perth based gold mining and exploration company with a proven management team that has a successful track record of developing numerous gold operations.
The Company is a purely Australian gold miner with operations at the Duketon Gold Project in the North Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia and the McPhillamys Gold Project in the Central Western region of New South Wales. The Duketon Gold Project encompasses Moolart Well, Garden Well and Rosemont sites.
We are looking for a Health and Safety officer/medic to join our team on a 2:1 roster at the Duketon Gold Project's Garden Well Mine. This position is responsible for advising on OHS matters, providing first aid and emergency response. You may also be required to provide specialised advice in technical area of H&S.

Main activities:
Site inductions;
Maintain the company’s safety systems including emergency response and crisis management manuals;
Assist in developing, preparing and responding to safety and emergency response requirements;
Plan and participate in HIF Audits, weekly and monthly inspections;
Advise on OHS matters on a proactive basis following meetings and discussions;
Plan, organise and undertake OHS and Mine Rescue training as required;
Undertake toolbox and safety committee meetings;
Provide first aid treatment, medical transport, and complete relevant medical forms;
Maintain first aid stocks throughout operations;
Conduct drug and alcohol testing;
Prepare data and report on safety performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement;
Utilisation and maintenance of database and spreadsheets as required;
Undertake or assist in accident and incident investigations;
Process Workers’ Compensation claims; and
Any other duties as directed by site General Manager. Role may include Aerodrome Reporting Officer and Emergency Response Officer.
Qualifications and experience:
Certificate IV Occupational Health and Safety or similar;
Certificate IV Health Care – Industrial Medic or similar;
Computer literacy i.e. word processing, excel, data base etc; and
Current WA class C manual drivers licence.
