Job Description
Provides medical services, first aid, and emergency services. Overseas, occupational health & safety, and clinical medicine. Serves as the initial on-site medic for routine medical issues for contractors and subcontractors; performs vital checks and diagnoses patients with minor symptoms and prescribes
medication as necessary. Responsible for administering on-site inoculations for required vaccinations, and drug and alcohol testing. Works closely with on-site HSE management to assess work injuries and accidents, provides documentation to assist company with workers compensation claims. Determines fitness for duty of contractors and subcontractors with senior HSE management. Maintains medical records for on-site contractors and subcontractors. Required to operate an emergency response vehicle and perform maintenance and inventory management on emergency equipment and supplies.
Basic Job Requirements
Preferred: High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and three (3) years to six (6) years related experience. Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions. Certification as Emergency Medical Technician or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Military and/or Contingency Operations experience preferred.
