Responsibilities Include:
Managing the Ambulance Services and participating in administration of emergency medical services to patients
Working with Supervisor, Medical Director, and Paramedic Clinical Coordinator/EMT Instructor in all aspects of development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and CQI
Ensuring equipment properly maintained and operated, safe work practices are followed, and all necessary supplies/materials are present
Reviewing applications for hiring
Recommending, developing, and implementing policy changes related to Ambulance Services
Enforcing policies, handling disciplinary problems, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Paramedicine, EMS, or similar title required (please note, online degrees cannot be accepted)
Master's degree strongly preferred
Registered Paramedic with active license in the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
Current/active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, PHTLS
If have Master's degree, six years of experience in a mid- to large-sized tertiary hospital setting in the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand, of which the past four years must be in a similar leadership role
If have Bachelor's degree, eight years of experience in a mid- to large-sized tertiary hospital setting in the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand, of which the past four years must be in a similar leadership role
