Paramedics wanted for international deployment;
We are seeking qualified and experienced paramedics for international deployment for a large upcoming project, subject to contract award.
Qualifications:
Fully Licensed or certification Paramedic
Trained and certified in Advanced Life Support (ALS) including administering IV fluids, medications, blood and blood products in the prehospital environment;
Must be current and in date Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR Advanced Life Support (UK OR European Resuscitation Council (ERC) Certified);
Must be current and in date Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or Certified and in date Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) / Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) [from a certified National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) verifiable site / course with clear and in date registration]
Must have knowledge of Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) / Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) main concepts;
Must have knowledge and recent training or practice in advanced prehospital extrication techniques and knowledge of the Stokes Basket and similar devices
Knowledge of Remote Damage Control Resuscitation (DCR), administering primary healthcare medications and medications and performing advanced respiratory procedures including emergency surgical cricothyroidotomy and Endotracheal intubation;
Must be willing to provide both emergency and primary healthcare with support from medical direction and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Must have a current and in date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and be competent at performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and completing primary and secondary trauma assessments using the “CABCD” approach (Catastrophic Bleed, Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Massive Haemorrhage, Respiratory Circulation and Hypothermia (CABC/MARCH);
This is a challenging, far forward post and the ability to be an independent and focused practitioner is vital, the above requirements are the bare minimum, advanced clinical skills are a must.
