Job Description
Aspen Medical is accepting CV's for a Flight Paramedic position to join our team in Yemen. This position requires the Flight Paramedic to stabilize patients in aeromedical evacuations. The Flight Paramedic must also be comfortable working in an under-resourced environment with minimal backup. The Flight Paramedic will work on rotation on-site in Yemen.
Duties
Evacuate patients according to global air ambulance practices and procedures
Stabilize patients during evacuation
Report to the Medical Emergency Coordinator during evacuation process
Deployment to support hospitals on an as needed basis
Work on a rotary and fixed-wing aircraft
Configure and equip in 30 minutes or less to provide in-flight medical care
Qualifications
Registered Professional Nurse with an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing Program or accredited Diploma Program
Training in aviation nursing/paramedics, emergency response and pre-hospital trauma life support or equivalent training.
Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing or equivalent field
Must be certified and registered to practice
