Job Key Details
Promptly respond to emergency calls involving accidents, disasters or medical emergencies
Make use of procedures and guidelines given by the physicians
Handle medical and emotional needs of any victim of acute illness or injury with the goal of reducing mortality and morbidity
Identify and understand a medical emergency and make reasonable and acceptable differential diagnosis
Comprehend and anticipate the pharmacological treatment of critically ill and injured patients
Conduct critical physical examinations
Move the ill and injured to institutions of medical care
Offer and direct fast, efficient advanced life support to the ill and injured using all basic and advanced abilities as well as techniques
Ensure effective communication with physician on duty at the hospital to relate patient condition and obtain orders for treatment
Carry out any other task that is in line with the job
Job Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate must have relevant qualifications for this role
Practical experience in the same position is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Must have good time management skills
