Join our Team as a Emergency Response Officer and provide proactive medical services for our client in a remote location
The Opportunity
Our client based in Nhulunbuy manages a large and established resources project comprising mine, refinery, and port operations. As an active member of the Emergency Response Team, this position provides proactive and reactive support in the areas of pre-hospital care, fire and rescue, and protective security, as well as providing industry training support to team members.
To be successful:
We seek professionals who possess experience gleaned from similar roles in the emergency services sector and who possess response and incident control experience, primarily in the delivery of pre-hospital care, and rescue services.
Applicants should be familiar with the effective delivery of remote medical services, with fire response, rope and vehicle rescue, hazardous material handling, as well as the delivery and assessment of associated training.
As a minimum you have the following credentials:
Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance)
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
Provide First Aid in Remote Situations
Provide Advanced First Aid
Provide Advanced Resuscitation
Provide Pain Management
Provide Advanced Circulatory Technology within Emergency Medical Care
Drug and Alcohol Screening certification
Medium Rigid motor drivers licence
In addition you must have the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance, Maritime Security Identification Card, and a NT Security Licence
