Registered Nurse

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a large medical support services program in Iraq supporting our U.S. Government customer.  The Registered Nurse will be performing a variety of professional duties involved in developing and delivering nursing services to promote and restore patient health.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Performs a variety of professional duties involved in developing and delivering nursing services to promote and restore patient health

Practices in specialty area depending on demand in the work setting



Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff

Provides physical and psychological support for patients, reinforcing patient understanding of disease, medications, and self-care skills and answering question

Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards

Follows hospital and nursing division’s philosophies and standards of care set by State board of nursing

State Nurse Practice Act, and other governing agency regulation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
RN Associate Degree or BSN required

Current unrestricted U.S. state license as a Registered Nurse

Membership in the Nursing Specialty professional association is desirable

1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse is required

Maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least six months out of the past year

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable

Long Hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions

Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse condition
