National and International Disaster Response Team (Medical and Non-Medical)

Overview:
Aspen Medical International in partnership with the Department of Human and Health Services provides healthcare support to response and recovery efforts following national and international disasters.

Aspen Medical International is hiring for several medical and non medical positions.Those who are interested in joining our growing team will have the opportunity to be considered for assignments both internationally and domestically on an as-needed basis.

Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
As deployments occur with little warning, the candidates for these positions must have a flexible schedule and availability to deploy. A high level of prior humanitarian experience in delivering quality programming in an austere environment is desired. Individuals selected can be deployed to dangerous places, and the living conditions can be challenging.

Qualifications
Qualifications Medial Positions


Degree: Bachelor of Science Degree and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and Subspecialty training as appropriate
A current, valid unrestricted medical license in one of the U.S. states, territories or commonwealths
Active hospital credentials and privileges
Certifications: Applicable certification according to requirements for specialty, i.e. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS), etc.
Experience: Actively practicing in specialty with minimum experience of three (3) years in their respective area

Physician (B): Emergency Medicine Trauma I, II

In addition to the Physician qualifications listed above each physician shall be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy who has successfully completed an approved Emergency Medicine Residency and is Emergency Medicine Board certified.

Degree: Bachelor’s in either Management or Business Administration
Degree: Master’s in either Management or Business Administration

Relevant education or certification to perform the duties- Experience: Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years
