Under general supervision, provides nursing and health/safety services to employees or persons on premises of an occupational setting. Responds and cares for general ailments, injuries and emergency health situations. Offers immunizations, shots, general exams, health education materials, and over the counter medication as needed. Assists in company health/wellness examination programs. Present relevant information to employees on health/safety education and illness prevention, via private setting or group training seminar. Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed. Skills are typically acquired through possession of a Licensed Practical Nurse license and minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing which includes experience in occupational health setting.
