Description
The EMT-P/Firefighter will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the Albian Oil Sands site along with all employees and contractors. The Paramedic/Firefighter will be responsible for all duties pertaining to fire, rescue, medical, emergency and environmental hazards.
This position is based in Fort McMurray, Alberta at our Albian Oil Sands site and is eligible for:
• Relocation to Calgary, Edmonton or Fort McMurray
• Company Sponsored Fly-In/Fly-Out and Accommodations Program with charter flights from Calgary or Edmonton

HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
• Ensure effective emergency response by providing professional application of skills and techniques at the emergency scene
• Assist in maintaining and inspecting fire apparatus and equipment
• Make fire code inspections of site facility infrastructure and prepares pre-fire plans
• Provide leadership and training to operations Fire and Rescue team members
• Provide input into the effectiveness of the program
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Typically 5+ years of paramedic experience with a certification in Emergency Medical Technician –Paramedic
• Registration with the Alberta College of Paramedic as an EMT-P required
• Valid basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) certificate
• Valid class 5, 4 and 3Q driver’s license
• CNRL will provide Fire Training
• Minimum standard of physical fitness is applicable for this role
