Location: Offshore North Sea
We require a Medic to work on board a Flotel in the North Sea. The successful applicant will have strong administrative skills, an ability to multi-task, with a track record of drive and enthusiasm. They will be expected to work both independently and as part of a wider team to complete the daily workload and deliver the service to a very high standard.
The following qualifications/certification/experience/skills are essential:
Eligible to work, or resident, in the UK
HSE Offshore Medic Certificate
Registered Nurse (Adult), with at least 3 years’ post-graduation experience within one or more of: A&E, ICU, HDU, OOH’s Service, ANP, Medical or Surgical Assessment Unit
BOSIET/FOET (c/w CA-EBS)
OGUK Medical
MIST
Preference will be given to those with:
Offshore Water Management and Legionella
HAVS
COSHH Assessors
DSE Assessor
Manual Handling Assessor
Noise at Work: Competent Person, NEMS & Dosimetry
Intermediate Food Hygiene
Main duties include standard medic duties and;
Health Surveillance: Skin, Respiratory, Specific Exposures, night worker health check
COSHH co-ordination and assessments
HAVS co-ordinator and assessments
Noise Co-ordinator
Rotation: 3/3
Mobilisation Point: Aberdeen
Start Date: Mid April
Grading: Advanced / 3
