The Longest Swim crew is looking for a volunteer medic to support a record-breaking Pacific crossing by Ben Lecomte.
The role will involve living on the boat throughout the expedition (at least six months from Tokyo to San Francisco), contributing to all life on board, monitoring the swimmer’s health/nutrition and providing medical care to the eight crew members in coordination with our onshore medical team, MSOS.
The expedition will operate under the umbrella of the non-profit Ocean Foundation to raise funds and awareness of many of the environmental issues that affect the Ocean.
All visas, travel, food and accommodation, medical kit and indemnity will be covered if taking part in the whole expedition.
