2 week+ commitments available during the following periods:
4 September to 1 October 2016; 9 October to 22 October 2016; 16 October to 29 October 2016; and after August 2017
Cares for assigned surgical patients from check-in until discharge to the recovery room, assists the surgeon and surgical team by circulating or scrubbing, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Description: Knowledge, Skill, and/or Ability Required:
• Current Operating Room Nurse/Nurse Practitioner license in home country
• Ability to both scrub and circulate
• Fluent in English
• Requires flexibility and sensitivity to Language & Cultural diversity
• Knowledge of OR procedures, standards and equipment
Education and/or Experience Required:
• Minimum of 2 years Operating Room Nurse experience required
• Current Basic Life Support certification is required; ACLS and PALS are optional
• Commitments longer than 10 months require successful completion of Mercy Ships On Boarding program
• Current Operating Room Nurse/Nurse Practitioner license in home country
