This opportunity extends for 4 months with the potential to extend beyond this time frame, the role is based in Mandurah on a large scale construction project. We are contracted to provide experienced, confident and qualified healthcare professional to oversee the industrial medic requirements of a large scale construction site as well as provide advisory support on matters concerning Health Safety & Environment.
About you:
Successful candidates for this role will have a minimum of three years within the construction industry managing acute health of the workforce on site.
A demonstrated knowledge of legislative requirements from an occupational health and safety point of view, and confidence in managing required site documentation and procedural systems.
Interpersonal professionalism and confidence to manage client requirements and site specifics required in the role.
Necessary Qualifications:
Minimum of a Cert IV Health Care (Ambulance) – or equivelant
Drug and Alcohol testing qualifications
Cert IV OHS qualification
White/Blue card
Experience working in front line Emergency Medical environment.
Professional interpersonal and communication skills and understanding of privacy requirements in a medical setting
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Desirable
Degree qualified as a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Rehabilitation and return to work Certificate
Strong experience with remote trauma / emergency and advanced life support skills in an occupational and/ or construction work setting
