A Roving Medical Coordinator (Medical training, paramedic training, public health) , Worldwide

Responsibilities
In the field:

Strategy : Participates in the development of new medical interventions for the mission
Programs: Supervision of the proper implementation and monitoring / medical programs under his/her responsibility in accordance with policy and health intervention framework of PUI as well as quality control and efficiency
Human Resources / Training: Supervision of the medical teams (PUI employees), support for recruiting technical staff and supervision of technical training activities on the basis of identified needs.
Logistics and Administration: Ensuring that the activities for which he/she is responsible comply with logistical and administrative procedures.
Representation: Participation to the representation of the association to partners, authorities and local stakeholders involved in implementing medical programmes.
Relations with Headquarters: According to the position held.

Between missions, the roving medical coordinator may have to, for short periods and as needed, work on capitalization, develop technical tools, support the Technical and Capitalization Department at headquarters for an interim or be called to work on more cross-departments projects, such as trainings.

Experience
Medical training, paramedic training, public health
Humanitarian experience of 3 years minimum in emergency and post-emergency situations, at medical coordination positions
Experience at a technical position at headquarters of International Solidarity NGOs appreciated
Experience in exploratory missions and needs assessments appreciated
Demonstrated experience in project management funded by institutional donors (including ECHO, EuropeAid, UN agencies, OFDA, BPRM).
Experience with PUI very appreciated
Excellent managerial skills
Interpersonal skills, diplomacy and negotiation
Analytical and reflection skills. Pragmatism.
Organization, priorities management, good interpersonal skills, communication ease and eager to work in a team
Dynamism, rigor, reactivity, adaptability, flexibility
Resistance to stress, ability to adapt to isolated and / or insecure environments

Languages
Excellent writing skills, formatting and syntax in French and English
Proposed Terms

Type / Duration of Contract: Fixed-Term Contract
Duration: 12 months
Starting Date : 2016

Monthly Gross Income: from 2 200 to 2 530 Euros depending on the experience in International Solidarity + 50 Euros per semester seniority with PUI
