The primary responsibility of this position will be to ensure the Safety and Training practices and commitments are in keeping with company and statutory requirements.
To be considered for this position you must :
- Hold a qualification in OH & S or relevant discipline
- Hold applicable current workplace trainer and assessor qualification
- Be a qualified Industrial Paramedic
- Experience with ERT co-ordination
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience as a Safety advisor, a minimum of 3-5 years operational experience in an open pit mining environment and an excellent knowledge of mining skills, techniques and equipment. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent time management skills, have the ability to work to deadlines, be computer literate and be a self starter.
