Principal Accountabilities:
Ensures all medical staff and equipment, including paramedics and ambulance, are available and prepared at the start of each shift for emergencies.
Carries out daily, case to case, examinations, nursing assessments (verbal and visual symptoms, blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate and auscultation) and treatment of employees suffering from minor complaints e.g. minor injuries and sickness such as fever, headache and stomach upsets.
Refers patients to HOMS in more complex or serious cases.
Receives calls from offshore barges, onshore projects and onsite to act accordingly.
Carries out any procedure as prescribed by HOMS such as routine laboratory, ECG and Nebulizer procedures.
Fills out the correct documentation required for patients needing further medical attention outside the scope of the clinic's facilities and staff.
Receives documents from various departments and after HOMS approval, dispatches them to the Finance and HR Departments.
Fills out disability claim forms for insurance purposes for affected parties.
Keeps an Accident and Sickness Register for Monthly Reports.
Collects food and water samples on a weekly (for offshore) and fortnightly (for onshore) basis for analysis for Health and Safety Standards.
Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.
