Search and Rescue Paramedic (EMT) , Overseas

Location: OCONUS

Performs invasive and pharmacological interventions within their scope of practice to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with acute out-of-hospital medical and traumatic experiences. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated mission and values.


Essential Functions:
•Assists in aircraft missions to conduct aerial search, extraction, and evacuation of personnel from urban or remote areas.
•Stabilizes and prepares injured personnel to be transported to higher level medical facilities.
•Ensures that Contractor-provided medical kits, including vehicle bags, are kept fully stocked and serviceable.

Job Requirements:
•Must be a U.S. citizen.
•Must possess valid US Passport
•Must possess current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification as a paramedic.

•Registration must be valid prior to deployment, and remain valid throughout the period of deployment.
•Must possess current approved CPR professional rescuer, Advanced Cardiac Life Saver (ACLS), and ATLS credentials.
•Must possess experience/knowledge in current TCCC guidelines. Page 74 of 104
•Must have successfully completed US Department of Transportation Air Medical Crew Advanced National Standard Curriculum training, or a demonstrated equivalent.
•Must possess a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a paramedic. This experience may be gained in the employ of any national, state, provincial, local, or commercial entities providing armed high threat protective services that require skills similar to those identified in the guard training course as outlined in the SOW.
•Must have a current US driver's license
•Must be able to pass a physical fitness agility test
•Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening; position is also subject to random drug screening throughout the course of employment to include steroid screening
•If prior US Military, must have an honorable discharge
•Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation and be eligible and maintain appropriate security clearance level for assigned position
•Must be able to pass a medical physical approving candidate for overseas work
•Must be able to successfully pass training program to include weapons qualification for assigned weapons, ( M4, Glock-19, M203, M240, M249 and Remington 870 Shotgun)

Upon bio approval, and before beginning work on the contract, the SARP shall:
•Attend and successfully complete the NPSS training course, as outlined in SOW
•Qualify with the Glock-19 and M4, re-qualifying as required by the task order.
•Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance/public trust certification as identified in the task order.
•Complete the WPS Physical Readiness Test at the 50% performance level, and maintain that fitness level for the duration of his/her service on the task order.
•Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order in specific.
