Job
Leads a team of thirty offshore health professionals.
Provide
guidance, support and coaching of Regional Leaders on Occupational
Health and Industrial Hygiene issues supervising workplace exposure
assessments according to Brazilian Law.
Integrate OH policies and procedures into day to day, local operating environments to ensure health risks are mitigated.
Lead
the assessments of work-related health risks associated with chemical,
physical, biological and ergonomic hazards and advise line management on
suitable risk prevention or control measures and ongoing risk
management strategy.
Provide medical advice to offshore operations, supervising topside support and onshore medical escort service.
Interact with overseas headquarters for alignment with corporate's policies and standard operating procedures.
Supervise the effective implementation of fitness for duty process and medical surveillance programs.
Responsible for supervision of medical delivery and quality in four different sites
Develop best practices, procedures, and policies.
Develop health management systems and metrics.
Requirements
Required MD graduation
Required certification, or specialization in Occupational Health / OHSAS
Advance - fluent English required
Previous management experience required
Previous related Offshore experience required
Required full time onshore availability
Required availability to Travel
