Requirement
Minimum 2 years experience as Nurse in any recognized hospital anywhere.
Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Able to converse well in English and has hospitable approach when dealing with colleagues
Able to adapt and work with multi-cultural team
Job Responsibilities
Maintain an adequate supply of medicines at all times as suggested by the house doctor and replenish the first aid boxes as necessary.
Ensures that all new colleagues are issued Health Cards and collects all expired cards.
Be always available in the clinic during the stated hours and ensure the clinic is always clean and tidy.
Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment such as oxygen bottles, first aid kits and other medical equipment.
Prepare the sickness report and submit to the Human Resources Coordinator at the 30th of each month and forward a copy of the sick leave report to concerned Heads of Department.
To liaise with government medical services in order to be informed of the latest medical needs and developments within the country.
Ensures pre employment medical scanning is conducted for overseas recruited colleagues and reports submitted and verified within the time limit.
Visits sick and hospitalized colleagues - in the hospital and accommodation
Ensures colleagues who are sick are provided medical care and food as & when required.
Will be an active member of the hotel’s HACCP and EHSMS Team.
To maintain records of first aiders within the department ensuring that adequate coverage as per EHSMS standards is maintained.
Schedule and monitor annual health/ medical checks of all colleagues.
To demonstrate the 12-Service Excellence Basics.
Keeps updated with the latest industry trends and new product in the market. HR Responsibilities:
Attends all hotel trainings as required.
Adheres to all HR and hotel policies and procedures and acts as a role model for others.
Continually strives to improve self; knowledge and skills. Financial Responsibilities:
Ensure all expenses are made as per operational requirement only and control unnecessary wastages.
Records all expenses, get the approval of the Department Head and submit to the Accounts
Ensure there is no pilferage in any expenses and all purchases are done through purchase department.
Maintain the cash float given by the hotel and being used only for the hotel official purpose only.
Actively participates in all hotel energy saving and recycling initiatives. General Responsibilities:
Attends all departmental meetings as required.
Strictly adheres to the hotel’s Policy on Confidentiality and Ethics.
Ensure that the appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform and appearance are maintained at all times.
Actively participates in all EHSMS and FSMS requirements.
To carry out any additional tasks and projects as requested by the Director of Human Resources & Training/Human Resources Manager.
