Job Description
Security and Safety Services of British Columbia is looking for First Aid Attendants/ Medics that are dependable and honest to be a part of our growing team. We are currently hiring for Part-Time and On-Call positions.
This position is intended to represent Security and Safety Services of British Columbia at various field locations across Western Canada and events throughout the Okanagan and other BC regions and provide premium quality emergency medical standby to our clients using approved scope of practice by law.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Medical standby at locations
• Representing Security and Safety Services in a courteous, positive and productive manner
• Provide medical aid to all participants at events and festivals or at Worksites
• Complete and submit all forms and paperwork in a tidy, complete manner
Other duties as required
Work Conditions
• Travel required.
• Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Overtime as required.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Ability to lift 50 plus pounds.
Requirements
• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Clean Driver's abstract.
• Clear Criminal Background Check.
• Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations.
• Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed.
• OFA 2 or higher medical training

• Valid BC Security License
• Valid H2S Alive ticket
• Valid PST ticket
• Other Valid Safety tickets
