Saturation Dive Medic

Location: North Sea Job Role:
ELG FZE on behalf of UnitedHealthcare Global are currently inviting
applications from experienced offshore medics to support oil and gas
operations in North Sea Sector.
Successful candidates will be responsible for the primary and emergency
healthcare of the ships crews as well as the ship's saturation diving
team prior, during and after each diving operation.
Additional duties include the management of aero emergency medical
evacuations, delivering First Aid training, health and fitness
initiatives, including dietary awareness, sexual health and smoking
cessation programmes, health and safety responsibilities, including risk
assessment, health and hygiene audits, safety induction training and
providing support to the HSE advisor.
Position Requirements
Skills / Industry Qualifications Required:
Minimum of two years' post medical qualification work experience
Previous offshore experience supporting dive crews
Dive medic certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ( ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Trauma management certification ( for example ITLS, PHTLS, ATACC, ATT, TNCC)
Experience in managing medical evacuations
High levels of health and fitness
Good English language skills
Computer literate
