About the Job
Geotemps is assisting our client in finding a Paramedic to works as part of the established Mine Rescue Team, providing emergency medical response, extrication and transportation of injured or sick personnel of an active mine site and nearby work areas.
Additionally, the Paramedic supports the Team and mine personnel with training and behavioral safety coordination.
Essential Functions
•Works on call and on site to provide emergency response as necessary
•Works as part of a team to provide worksite wide training and risk assessments
•Ensures that all equipment and response vehicles are prepared for use
•Completes appropriate documentation as necessary
Qualifications
•Current Alaska State Paramedic certification, with current Advanced Life Support Certification
•Ability to communicate effectively in fast paced, dynamic, often noisy work site.
•Must be able to respond quickly access patients in difficult terrain or confining environments,
work in inclement weather-extreme heat, cold, dry, dusty, wet conditions.
•Must possess a State of Alaska Driver’s license
•Must be able to pass a post offer physical, drug screen and criminal background check .
