Due
to our continued growth and expansion, we are now seeking an
experienced HSE Paramedic available for an immediate start. The position
primarily requires a medic with a strong background in safety. You must
also have a passion for remote work and high quality care to join our
Site Services team on a 2 year Fixed Term contract. This is a FIFO
position, from Perth, WA, and consists of a two week on, two week off
roster. You will berequired to work 12 hour shifts and carry out some
on-call work.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Safety alerts and meetings;
- Auditing;
- JHA's;
- Confined space, working at heights and other specialised training coordination;
- Emergency response care of injured workers;
- Documentation and patient contact / emergency care management;
- Liasion with all stakeholders within the worker compensation system;
- Training and development of site personnel;
- Reviewing and updating safety and health procedures.
Candidate Requirements
The
successful applicants will be flexible, dynamic and work well in a team
environment. You will have demonstrated experience working in a similar
capacity, excellent organisational skills and exceptional verbal and
written communication skills.
You will also require:
- Bachelor of Paramedical Science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HSE medic environment or similar role
- Cert IV TAE
- Confined space & hazardous materials training
- Current ALS and emergancy services experience
