If
selected as a Remote EMT for RMI, you will work with a variety of
industries
providing medical care and rescue services all over the world as part of a high-performance team of Project Managers, Medical Directors, and others. RMI is a company with a global presence and perspective, and our providers work in all varieties of climates and locations - from offshore work on research vessels, to running clinics on tropical islands, and everywhere in between. Our providers use their skills and expertise in providing emergency care, leading Health and Safety initiatives, overseeing medevacs, and practicing preventative healthcare.
Rotations for our remote medical providers can range anywhere between a couple weeks in length, to six months in length. There is opportunity for part-time and full-time positions, as well as ad-hoc or occasional positions. Successful candidates are physically fit, team players, very comfortable with foreign travel, and work well within a multi-cultural environment. A demonstrated history of self-improvement, strong command of BLS protocols and skills, and exceptional medical and rescue skills are also requirements of the job.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Currently certified as an EMT-B through the National Registry or a state agency.
- Current Remote-EMT or Wilderness-EMT certification.
- Current BLS, CPR and PHTL certifications.
- At least two year’s experience working as an EMT.
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check and fit for duty exam.
- Ability to travel internationally without restriction.
