Progressive, employee-friendly Onsite OHS is seeking Medical Logistics Coordinators to provide services in Afghanistan.
Supports company operations by ordering, packing, and sending supplies throughout the Afghanistan AOR.

Job Responsibilities
- Maintains acceptable supply inventory for distribution to all Onsite OHS supported clinics throughout Afghanistan
- Does badging processes for new personnel, to include escort badging for current personnel
- Maintains accountable inventory processes, by conducting a weekly full inventory of all stocked items
- Maintenance of all clinic vehicles to include, dispatching
- Escorts all new personnel around the KAF area until properly badged
- Coordinates all regular supplies and maintenance of regular supply ordering system DYN- MRO for all clinics in the AOR, I.E. pens, filing folders, refrigeration systems etc
- Disposal of hazardous materials, and non- hazardous materials for all clinics in the AOR
- Coordination of event oriented staff functions
- Customer service procedures to include communication of important details, ordering, and shipment updates for all clinics in the AOR
- Maintains accountability of all PPE for R&R personnel
- Issuing and receipt on a DA 3161 of all mandatory equipment for new personnel
- Maintains and updates contact information for all clinics and flight line operations personnel throughout the AOR
- Maintains personnel uniform orders and destruction of unserviceable uniforms IAW Onsite OHS regulation
- Maintains a record of the individual materiel received by each clinic in the AOR to compile a monthly materiel and cost report using excel spreadsheets and customer orders, to include receipts from the military Med log to calculate an overall monthly expense report
- Maintains storage and proper handling procedures for all medical and non-medical materiel
- Conducts the maintenance of fire extinguishers and smoke alarms IAW KAF regulation
- Coordinates the forwarding of personnel’s personal mail
- Researches and updates Nomenclature, National stock number, and unit price changes for all medical and non-medical materiel
- Maintains the update of supply ordering system DCAM used for connection between military supplier and clinic
- Coordinates the ordering, receipt, storage and proper handling procedures for cold chain supplies of a dollar value to exceed $100,000, monthly
- Receives narcotics from military supply chain for clinics throughout the AOR, with a high dollar value
- Coordination of cargo movement from KAF clinic to outlining clinics
- Maintains and coordinates the delivery of personal medical records transferred and transported throughout the AOR, IAW Onsite OHS, DynCorp, and military regulations
- Coordinates the schedule and delivery of bottled water for the KAF clinic
- Consults with Physicians and Physicians assistants to revise and update ordering list
- Coordinates the delivery of military supplies to unreachable locations throughout the AOR
- Maintains a professional relationship with KAF role 3 Navy warehouse, as well as role 3 physicians and personnel to assist in the sustainment of the Onsite OHS, DynCorp, and military mission across the AOR
- Ensures that supplies ordered
Job Requirements - Medical Logistician (OCONUS):
- Communications, Networking, Military medical supply ordering system (DCAM), Military air operations manifesting procedures, and the ability to anticipate future supply needs for OHS clinics
- Basic computer/e-mail skills required
- Knowledge of the military supply system regarding national stock numbers, DA form 3161, and letters of justifications preferred
- Ability to formulate and execute a plan without supervision or direction from management is expected
- Must be willing to spend long periods of time away from friends and family in an austere and sometimes dangerous environment
- Must pass a drug screen and meet certain physical qualifications as set forth by the Department of Defense
- Must pass a federal background check and have or be able to obtain a current passport
- Must possess the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team to accomplish given tasks
- Must look and act professional at all times
- Must be able to remain flexible and adjust priorities often to accommodate the rapid tempo and ever-changing mission of Onsite OHS
- Must be able to work and live alongside many different races and cultures
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good history of safe driving
- Must be able to perform basic preventative maintenance checks on assigned vehicles
- It is required that the candidate complete all required dispatch forms on a weekly basis
- Will be required to cross train in the aspects of other positions within the clinic in the event that it becomes necessary to fill a vacancy or assist in an emergency situation
- Must be able to present information in a class room setting as well as in the field environment
- Must have the ability to multitask and delegate assignments when necessary to accomplish the mission
- Must provide current and accurate reports to management and remote medics regarding current supply levels, order status, and the ability to provide requested items to a clinic in a specific time-frame
- Must have experience with Medical Logistics to be considered for this position!
