Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:

• Provision of Emergency and/or Critical Care transfers on a 24-hour basis.
• Provision of emergency response to VIP patients, 24-hour basis.
• Responds to Hospital housing, employees, and their dependents on a 24-hour basis.
• Assist with Code Greens and code blue in the East Wing of the Hospital (i.e. Adult and pediatric cardiac arrest)
• Play a major role with the hospital's disaster and decontamination response.
• Provide in-services and training for EMT student and other hospital staff

The Paramedic Department follows the American DOT standards and protocols for operation. Paramedics work eleven 24-hour shifts in six (6) week period.
Please note, the Department of Emergency Medical Services will only consider applicants willing to sign a two-year contract.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of a MINIMUM two (2) year accredited DEGREE or DIPLOMA paramedic training program from a North American college, technical school, or university (NOTE: Shorter programs are NOT accepted)
  
• Must be able to obtain official transcript from paramedic degree/diploma program
• Must be a Registered Paramedic with Advanced Cardiac life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Must hold a current/active Paramedic license.
• Canadian Trained Paramedic: Must have a minimum of three years current full-time experience working as an Advanced Care Paramedic in Canada.
• American Trained Paramedic: Must have a minimum of three years current full-time experience working as a Nationally (NREMT/P) or State Registered Paramedic
