Occupational Health and Safety Advisor, Bahrain

Job Summary:-
Our client, a prestigious medical facility is looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Advisor to join their expanding team in Bahrain. The successful candidate has to ensure the organizational Safety Statement is reviewed annually, updated and effectively communicated to all the staff.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing the annual capital and operational budget for health and safety.
Provide health and safety advice and intervention on staff occupational health related issues.
Coordinate fire drills for the buildings in liaison with the building management and fire wardens.
Conduct periodic building health and safety audits including housekeeping and fire safety issues.
Conduct incident and accident investigations and follow up on implementation of corrective action.
Prepare, implement and update the health and safety policies to meet legislative and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
Primary degree in science, healthcare or a related discipline.
Must have an IOSH recognized health & safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH diploma) and should be a member or be eligible for membership of the IOSH.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar OH&S advisory role in the GCC.
