Instructor shall have the skills required to effectively conduct classroom instruction, demonstrate procedures, observe/evaluate student performance of hands-on tasks, and provide oral/written feedback to the student. Must have Special Operations Battalion Staff experience and must have deployed as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant or higher.

Plans, coordinates, and conducts training and related instructional programs for customer personnel.

1. Conducts training sessions and assists in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
2. Coordinates logistics for instruction events, including scheduling classes, reserving classrooms, and preparing workstations.
3. Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
4. May participate in the development and establishment of course content and objectives.
5. Updates course documentation as needed to ensure timeliness and relevance.
6. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
7. Participates in special projects as required.

Associates Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience. Must be a graduate of the Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course or other acceptable military equivalent.

3-5 years of directly related experience in course instruction.

The instructor shall be knowledgeable in Special Forces tasks up to the battalion level. The instructor shall possess the skill to ensure detachment medical preparation and maintains medical equipment and supplies, provides examination and care to detachment members and establishes temporary, fixed and unconventional medical facilities to support operations with emergency, routine, and long term medical care. Provides initial medical screening and evaluation of allied and indigenous personnel. Manages detachment, allied, or indigenous patients’, administration, admission and discharge, care, laboratory and pharmacological requirements and the initiation, maintenance and transfer of records. Orders, stores, catalogs, safeguards and distributes medical/dental supplies, equipment and pharmaceutical. Supervises medical care and treatment during split detachment missions. Operates a combat laboratory and treats emergency and trauma patients in accordance with established surgical principles. Diagnoses and treats various medical/veterinary dermatological, pediatric, infectious and obstetric conditions using appropriate medications, intravenous fluid support and physical measures. Manages and supervise all aspects of deployed preventive medicine. Coordinates veterinary training and support for area requiring animal transportation or use. Develops and provides medical intelligence as required. Must be knowledgeable on the current medical techniques being used by Special Forces in the CENTCOM AOR. Former instructor at USAJFKSWC 18D course preferred.

Assist in the preparation, development and presentation of a Program of Instruction to the Albanian Special Forces Battalion. The training course will consist of a 22-week program of instruction to the Albanian Army Special Forces Battalion that will focus on SF MOS core competencies and special skill training.

Experience in Foreign Internal Defense missions is required. Experience in civil affairs is a plus. Must be able to teach effectively in various environments (classroom and field) presenting SF MOS specific training. OEF/OIF experience is highly desired.

Must be able to pass the standard APFT at time of hire. Must be physically fit and able to participate in demanding field training to include ruck marches in excess of 20 miles. Must be able to wear the appropriate Army uniforms and meet grooming standards. Must be able to live in austere conditions in the Commando Regiment barracks.
