The Company:
Our client is an International Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company with operations in 16 countries, they have achieved spectacular growth in the past ten years, growth which they expect to continue.
There Southern North Sea (North) facility comprises both on and offshore natural gas production and processing facilities. They include 18 offshore producing gas platforms off the east coast of Yorkshire.

The Role:
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to be a member a QSSHE team. Alongside the medical aspect of this role you will also have the proven ability to deliver a high level of safety support and coaching to management & personnel alike. You are also expected to ensure regulatory and legislative compliance with regards to, Health, Safety & Environment.

You will be based primarily offshore on one of the clients production assets in the Southern North Sea (North) working a two on three off (2/3) rota - reporting directly to the Operational Health Safety department onshore. The successful applicant shall also be required to work closely with the Installation Management team. Offshore experience is essential along with knowledge and familiarity of gas /oil process operations.

Key accountabilities shall include but not be limited to:
Behavioural Safety coaching and training skills (eg STOP)
Risk Assessment Team Lead skills
Auditing skills (ISSOW / PTW etc)
Incident Investigation skills
Emergency response skills
Management of platforms ER database
Environmental knowledge (UK Legal Requirements)
Platform Inductions
Gas testing
Leading safety improvement programme
Document owner for a number of cross SNS(N) Health and Safety Procedures
Manage platform QSSHE Database
Deliver heath and safety training
Dynamic Risk review focal point
Platform Safety case updates
Lead the green team
Ownership of areas covered by fixed gaseous agents
Advise platforms staff on content and applicability of all QSSHE procedures
Working at Height (WAH) awareness training
Participate in and support Safety reps committee meetings
Management of PUWER database
Produce weekly QSSHE Statistics report

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
NEBOSH Qualified (Diploma)
Radiation Protection Supervisor
Offshore Medic Qualified (UK HSE Approved etc)
Offshore Survival to OGUK Standard
Offshore Medical Certification to OGUK Standard

(Offshore North Sea Experience is essential & familiarity with NUI operations would advantageous)
