The Ichthys Project onshore LNG facility construction site is located at Blaydin Point about 50 minutes drive from Darwin, and is the largest project in the Northern Territory. During construction by JKC Australia LNG (JKC), and its subcontractors, other associated industries will be attracted to the area such as transport, health, and professional services to the area.
HES has been awarded the contract to provide specialised personnel services, equipment and facilities to JKC's construction sites including Blaydin Point and the Howard Springs Accommodation Village.
We require the services of experienced Paramedics and Registered Nurses to provide professional medical services at these two sites.
Our ideal applicants will be able to demonstrate competency and experience in the paramedical or nursing fields with the following pre-requisites:
• Drug and Alcohol Screening Qualification
• Current Drivers Licence
• National Police Clearance
Paramedic positions will require:
• Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) – Certified to at least AP1 Level as per Northern Territory requirements (or equivalents)
• Currency of Practice – evidence of competency – within last 12 months
• Experience assisting with and/or performing treatment or rescue from elevated structures, difficult access locations, excavations, vehicles, underwater and other locations associated with construction sites.
• Mining, resources, construction site medic experience highly regarded.
Nursing positions will require:
• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
• Minimum 3 years post graduate experience working in emergency departments and remote locations, managing serious illness and injury with a caring and empathetic approach supporting the injured or ill.
• Dual RN/Paramedic, ALS and PHTLS or equivalent certification highly regarded.
