Advanced Medical Solutions Inc. is currently hiring Registered Nurses for our International and inter-provincial Medevac Program. We offer services for Adult or Pediatric patients who require BLS, ALS and Critical Care repatriation throughout and back to Canada. Based out of Calgary, these 1-4 day missions will take you to a variety of locations throughout Canada and around the world.
The successful candidates will provide medical care and be part of a high-performance team of Flight Paramedics & Flight Nurses reporting to our Medevac Operations Manager and our Director of Medical Operations.
Although the job is glamorous, it is also very strenuous and demanding. Our successful candidates are physically fit, team players, very comfortable with foreign travel, and work well within a multi-cultural environment. A demonstrated history of emergency medicine, strong communication skills, exceptional practitioner talents and fixed wing flight experience are also requirements of the job.

CARNA Licensure
a minimum two years Emergency or ICU experience with Critical Care Credentialing
CPR, ACLS, ITLS or TNCC, PALS, NRP and/or STABLE, CAMATA certifications.
clean Criminal Background & Vulnerable Sector Check
clean Drivers Abstract
pre-employment medical examination with current Immunizations & Vaccines
previous flight experience is mandatory
a valid Passport and the ability to travel internationally without restriction.
Compensation
Compensation is a very competitive day rate. In addition, AMS will cover the cost for travel to Calgary from the applicants nearest major airport, lodging and sustenance during the missions. All employees are eligible to participate in our internal and external training opportunities.
