GP Fly in Fly out a 12 month contract at remote location West of Brisbane, Queensland
Salary $190K plus Superannuation, meals, accommodation and travel provided!
This remote service in Queensland requires a General Practitioner with emergency and occupation health skills.
Fly in and fly out arrangement -2 weeks on 2 weeks off.
Minimum requirements
General Medical Registration with AHPRA
High degree of clinical acumen with the ability to manage emergency treatment and stabilisation of patients who are critically ill and need of evacuation
Highly desirable:
FRACGP
FACRRM
Understanding of occupational Health Management
You will be providing medical services for up to 3,000 mine workers rotating between 3 sites in a setting with;
Ordinary hours of operation are between 0600-1600 with on-call responsibilities
24/24 on call Telehealthlink
Nurse Practitioner
Remote Area nurse
Paramedic
The medical service provides;
General Practice
Injury management and rehabilitation
Referral to specialist medical providers
Immunizations
Clinic Management
Training of healthcare personnel
Training and induction commences on 4th September;
This induction training will see each person qualified on the following:
Permit to Work
White Card Certification
Working at Heights
Confined Space Entry
Gas Test Atmospheres
Breathing Apparatus
Basic confined space rescue (non-accredited)
Operate Vehicles in the Field
Certificate IV TAA (one person at each site will be put through this or RPL granted if they have all the requirements) - Dr does not require this qualification.
