It is a dual role which will require an Offshore Medic to provide medical attention where necessary.
You will be competent with medical tasks such as resuscitation, monitor health and hygiene of the hospital, provide information on Lesson Learnt training and have Medical certification.
As the HSE Advisor the successful applicant will be responsible for accident investigation, standard reporting, complying with procedures, making safety observations and inspection as well as maintaining a presence on deck to ensure compliance across the vessel.
The successful candidate will work a 12 hour day but be on call 24/7 in order to respond to any medical emergencies.
The rotation is 4 weeks on 4 weeks off.
It is essential that the successful candidate have a good track record of working Offshore, have been medically trained for at least 5 years and be highly competent with HSE legislation within the Oil and Gas industry.
A minimum of 8 years industry experience is sought after and proof of a NEBOSH General Certificate as well as Medical Qualification.
Candidates must be able to implement all procedures and be able to deal with a pressurised environment, responding effectively and efficiently at all times.
