EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
High School diploma or general education
degree (GED ); or one to three months related
experience and/ or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience .
A minimum of 2 years direct advanced life
support experience working for an advanced life
support EMS service , hospital , or US military .
Experience in general heavy industry safety
programs, implementation, and assessment.
Experience with computers , Word , Excel ,
Windows , e- mail.
Certifications as stated below .
LICENSES/ CERTIFICATIONS
Maintain National Registry of EMTs - Paramedic
level certification , state of residence Paramedic
level certification, current certification in
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR ), current
certification in Advanced cardiac Life Support
(ACLS ) & Pre -Hospital Life Support (PHTLS) also
acceptable .
OSHA Safety , Defensive Driving, Fall Protection ,
Fire Watch , HAZWOPER, HLO ( Helicopter Landing
Officer ), Confined Space Rescue / High Angle
Rescue , and Certified Rigger/ Competent Rigger,
HUET ( Helicopter, Underwater Egress Training ),
Safe Gulf
USCG/MMS Rules & Regulations
TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification
Credential)
