Responsibilities:
Provide routine and emergency medical support to
the MTT during pre -training assessment and
during training in the field which includes the
training site , police contributing country, and other
locations where the MTT will travel
Plan for and facilitate emergency medical
evacuation
Deliver training in-country based on the INL
approved training curriculum on topics such as
first aid and first responder , HIV /Aids, malaria , safe
travel , stress management, and combat casualty
first aid
Travel overseas to and within countries that are
considered dangerous or unhealthy or other
adverse environment
Report to the Project Manager /Lead Trainer .
Minimum Qualifications :
U .S . Citizen/ TCN, as specified in the class order.
Board certified ( current ) as a Physician Assistant
( PA) or equivalent
One (1 ) year experience training
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be willing and capable of working in a fluid
environment , under challenging circumstances
Must demonstrate ability to work well in a team
environment and with trainers from another
country
Travel overseas to and within countries that are
considered dangerous or unhealthy or other
adverse environment .
Must be able to deliver police training to foreign
nationals through a language assistant
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working/living abroad
Ability to speak and read French
Prior UN peacekeeping experience or international
training and mentoring experience
Knowledge of multilateral /multidimensional
peacekeeping operations
Clearance
Ability to obtain /maintain a Secret/ Top Secret
Clearance .
