We are now recruiting a Paramedic to join the
Fleet Operations team at our corporate offices in
Santa Clarita , CA (just north of Los Angeles).
Responsibilities
Assists in the development of the Clinical
Competency program .
Monitors and tracks programs compliance .
Reviews and updates clinical content and
assesses the effectiveness of the program.
Assists in the recruitment, development and
administration of paramedic staff .
Assists in the development of paramedic tasks .
Assists in the development and administration of
paramedic training initiatives such as first aid ,
patient movement and use of medical
equipment .
Assists in the development, implementation,
tracking and evaluation of crew health
promotion and education initiatives .
Assists in the onboard delivery of medical
certifications such as ACLS , PALS and CPR.
Provides technical support for shipboard
medical equipment . Coordinates vendors and
facilitates maintenance and repair of medical
equipment .
Maintains records of equipment maintenance ,
service and repair .
Monitors and updates medical drugs and supply
lists to maximize cost efficiencies .
Assists prepare ships for internal and external
audit .
Alerts management to any potential compliance
violations.
As required performs onboard medical
inventory audits . Requirements
Paramedic with current or recent emergency and
non- emergency patient care experience ,
minimum 3 years .
Preferred experience in clinical training and
competence evaluation.
Preferred experience in clinical compliance and
audit .
Nationally Registered EMT-P or ability to obtain
within 1 year of employment.
Current ACLS , PALS and CPR certifications .
Preferred certifications in ACLS, PALS and CPR
Instructor.
Proficiency in the use of computer business
applications, with working knowledge of
computerized word processing and spreadsheet
applications.
Ability to communicate clearly (written and
verbal) with management, co- workers and
customers , while working in a team or group
environment .
Ability to meet frequent deadlines, maintain a
high level of accuracy with an attention to detail ,
while working on multiple tasks or projects.
Ability to work independently to complete
projects and ensure onboard tasks are
complete .

Therefore, you will have the opportunity to work
a schedule that provides you with one day off
every two weeks . During each two- week pay
period , employees in this department typically
work four nine-hour days plus one weekday off ,
