We have an open position for a Nurse with a large cruiseline
Experience in Emergency Room – at least 3 years.
Excellent English (verbal & written)
Practical experience with Advanced Life Support.
The nature of being out at sea requires very close teamwork from the entire crew on the ship. In the Medical Center this means physicians and nurses are very-hands on in every aspect of clinic work. As a nurse on board, you can expect to have an active role in the administration of the medical center ordering supplies and keeping track of maintenance requests for all the equipment. On ships, all medical issues must be documented very carefully to ensure proper patient care, especially when patients are evacuated for emergencies and there are multiple steps involved in their treatment. All of the nurses onboard share equally in clinical care and administrative work. We consider being comfortable with administrative tasks, using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and having a team-building approach to be as important as the clinical aspects of running the medical center
14 weeks on, 7 weeks off in rotation.
