Overview
**This position is physically located in Iraq in support of LOGCAP**

The Medic Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of Sr. Medics and Medics providing emergency medical services and first aid level care to Vectrus employees at their assigned locations.
Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.May be required to maintain and operate an ambulance if local emergency medical service (EMS) is not available or is unable to respond in a timely manner.
Primary point of contact on all medical issues related to project or worksite for established medical treatment providers in the locale.
Interfaces with injury management, workers compensation, and outside compensation providers.
Provides injury management and administers return to work programs at project or worksite.
Assists in the preparation and maintenance of required records associated with incidents and injuries occurring at worksite.
Maintains project or worksite statistical data.
Maintains proper inventory of EMS equipment and first aid supplies.
Maintains project or worksite first aid facility.
May oversee other health issues such as drinking water, toilet facilities, food preparations, living areas, etc.
Performs pre-employment medical, physical agility testing.
Performs drug and alcohol testing at project or worksite and administers drug and alcohol abuse policy at project or worksite level.
Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Must be a U.S. Citizen


Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:
To be qualified for this position you must comply with USCENTCOM MOD 16 that requires proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC or host country requirements.


As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered. This definition may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Compliance with this government requirement is an essential function of the position and is a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree preferred or equivalent work related experience.

Certifications:
Emergency Medical Technician -Paramedic (EMT- P), ACLS & BLS. All certifications must not expire within twelve months from the date of hire.
EMT-P certification (good through period of employment)
ACLS certification (good through period of employment)
BTLS certification (good through period of employment)
BLS certification (good through period of employment)

Experience:
Minimum three (7) years experience required as an EMT-P.


To be considered for this position an individual must meet the following background criteria:
Paramedic:
Minimum 7-10 years’ experience at the Paramedic level
High volume experience preferred; Clinical experience is a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).


Skills:
Excellent computer, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills required.
Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Requires excellent organizational skills; with the ability to work under fast paced and adverse conditions.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises a team of medics.


Working Conditions:
Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

Physical Requirements:
Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
