Employer: Remote Medical International®
Location: Afghanistan
The Role:
This is an exciting role within Remote Medical, where you will be part of a multidisciplinary clinic-based team within a U.S. Military Base. This role is a great opportunity for those of you looking to break into the remote medical field as well as learn more about primary care! These projects can provide those with a willingness to learn, a firm foundation of proactive clinic care, workplace safety initiatives, and other aspects needed to be successful in a remote environment.
No former contracting experience is needed! This is not an armed role or one that operates "outside of the wire", but you will provide a welcoming environment for other contractors to receive first-rate primary care while they are deployed.
Rotations:
Minimum expected assignments of 6 consecutive months may be available, but preference may be given to those willing to deploy for up to a year. R&R is available and will vary depending on the length of your assignment.
Locations, Food, Lodging, Travel, and Reciprocity:
Why pay for rent, food, and travel?!? While deployed, Remote Medical will cover the cost for your onsite lodging, food, and travel to/from the project. Along with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, many employees enjoy the cost-savings while deployed.
Schedule:
While deployed, paramedics typically work seven (7) days a week on a shift-work schedule. While deployed, paramedics will receive a salary and be eligible for comprehensive benefits.
Notes to Applicant:
NREMT-Paramedic certification is now required for this role. Should we pursue your candidacy for this role, your NREMT certification will be verified before an interview is scheduled. Although this is a non-transport role, employees may be required to drive company vehicles which will require an active U.S. drivers license from any state and the ability to successfully complete a background / driving record investigation. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only candidates whose candidacy is being pursued will be contacted.
