Foreign National Paramedic - KOSOVO

Scope:
Under direction of a Physician, performs physical examinations and health screening and provides routine medical care to NATO/KFOR military personnel at Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo. This includes vaccinations, pharmaceuticals, first aid, immediate lifesaving measures, and triage. Performs as ambulance attendant as needed.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Registered Professional Nurse or Paramedic with first level degree from an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing/Paramedic Program or equivalent acceptable within the NATO Nations, such as an accredited Diploma Program
Minimum three (3) years of experience in continuous primary care practice.
Experienced in Trauma and Emergency care.Must be a citizen of a NATO country and currently registered to practice within a NATO country.
Certificates in ECG, CPR or Basic Life Support and ACLS or equivalent emergency medical care.
Experienced in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Fluent in English - reading, writing and speaking.
Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be “medically and dentally fit” in accordance CHS Medical Readiness Guidelines and Policies and/or as dictated by the Client.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be “medically and dentally fit” in accordance CHS Medical Readiness Guidelines and Policies and/or as dictated by the Client
No conditions that would prevent the wear of personal protective equipment; including protective mask, ballistic helmet, body armor and chemical/biological protective garments or conditions that would prevent the capability of donning, lifting or carrying of up to 70 lbs. of referenced gear while running to a bunker or protected area in the face of perceived or imminent danger.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; travel in Iraq is required by surface or air.
