WPS 2 Physician Assistant

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is currently seeking Physician Assistants (PA) for deployment to Iraq and other locations. Stationed at U.S. Embassy facilities and other diplomatic outposts, the PAs support security contractor personnel with life-saving and routine care. PAs are based in secure complexes and typically deploy on medium term rotations.

Responsibilities

Provides Physician Assistant services at diplomatic posts, including treatment of illnesses or minor injuries suffered during security operations
Stabilizes and prepares sick and injured personnel to a higher level medical facility
Ensures that the contents and serviceability of medical kits supplied to personnel and placed in operational vehicles are properly maintained

Qualifications

US citizen, as specified in the Task Order
Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of PA experience, with a majority of this experience being within an emergency room and/or in direct support of military operations
Level three (3) English language proficiency
Must be trained and certified to current US recognized medical standards (i.e. accredited Physician Assistant Studies program at the Masters level and NCCPA certification)
Must possess current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
Must have successfully completed Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), a comparable advanced trauma course featuring exceptional simulation training within the last ninety (90) days (can be provided by the company)

Upon Acceptance
Attend and successfully complete the DoS-accredited NPSS training course
Qualify with the Glock-19 and M4, re-qualifying as required (if deemed necessary by the Task Order)
Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance/public trust certification as identified in the task order
Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order in specific
