Job description
Minimum of 5 years Armed Forces/Law Enforcement/Emergency services.
Recognised Close Protection course qualification.
Recent proven and demonstrable successful employment experience in a similar role in a Private Security Company (PSC) in Iraq.
Should possess at least 2 – 3 years of experience working in active ambulance care or in a medical emergency room.
Must possess one of the following medical qualifications or equivalent and be current:
- EMT-Paramedic
- Paramedic (registered)
- Offshore Medic, nurse or doctor
Must possess current:
- BLS cert or equivalent
- ALS or ACLS cert or equivalent
- PHTLS or ITLS certification (preferred).
Medical Knowledge & Skills Maintenance
In addition to renewal of certification when required, a six to 12 week hands-on retaining/refresher in an ambulance care, emergency room, trauma unit or similar setting is required; unless knowledge and skills maintenance have been obtained on a continual basis.
