Our client hospital which has a 2000 bed capacity, is based in the Central Region of Saudi Arabia. The facility includes the largest dedicated Children's Hospital in the Middle East which opened in June 2015.

Description :

The Paramedic provides both Basic and Advanced Life Support in the pre-hospital and in- hospital settings.
The scope of practice includes providing a high standard of direct patient care, maintaining equipment and supplies, ensuring a well-prepared EMS response and keeping accurate records. In collaboration with other health care personnel, the Paramedic fulfills a vital role in providing a team approach to quality emergency care and assists in training and educational programs as well.

Duties:

Accountable for providing high quality patient care both pre-hospital and in-hospital, based on an in-depth understanding of the patient's needs.
Exercises detailed attention to duty while ensuring the EMS Team, its equipment and supplies are in a constant state of readiness.
Administers quality care within the guidelines of established policies, procedures and protocols. Follows EMS Medical Control directives.
Takes part in regular skills maintenance programs to ensure professional proficiency.
Maintains professional certifications.
Collaborates with members of the EMS Team and other health care professionals to ensure and improve the readiness of the Emergency Team as a whole.
Maintains a working knowledge of current trends in EMS and new developments in the healthcare field.
Promotes a continuous effort to achieve a higher level of quality care.

Requirements 
Western EMS Licensure equivalent to U.S. DoT Paramedic or higher - E
Three (3) years’ experience as an Advanced Life Support
(ALS) Paramedic - E
Certified: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Pre-Hospital Trauma
Life Support (PHTLS) - E
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS) - E
Additional EMS Certification Courses i.e., Critical Care EMT
Paramedic (CCEMT-P) - P
English Language Skills: Level - I - E
Computer Skills: Basic Level - E
