Medical Officer (MO) (OCONUS)

SOC is recruiting for Medical Officers (MO).

**This position is contingent upon award. **

Responsibilities:

Plans and implements a preventive and corrective medical support program to maintain the health of Contractor personnel.
Plans and implements a program for the treatment of minor injuries suffered during security operations and the stabilization and preparation for transport of injured personnel or personnel with sickness that warrants transfer to a higher-level medical facility.
Located at the primary project site for the task order area of operations. He/she must evaluate medical support provided to contractor personnel.

Qualifications:

US citizen/TCN/LN, as specified in the task order.
Level three (3) English language proficiency.
Must be trained and certified to current US recognized medical standards.
Must possess current state medical licensure.
Must possess current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
Must have successfully completed Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), a comparable advanced trauma course featuring exceptional simulation training within the last ninety (90) days.
Must possess a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in one of the following specialties:
Emergency Medicine Specialist (defined by current board certification) with a broad interest and experience in providing primary care across the range of office-based specialties including, but not limited to, GYN, dermatology, ENT, pulmonary, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, orthopedics, psychology and gastroenterology.
Family Medicine Specialist (defined by current board certified or equivalent board certification) with interests as defined above and with an interest, additional training and practice experience to include the broad range of gynecologic, medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric and trauma emergencies.
Internal Medicine Specialist (defined by current board certified or equivalent board certification) with interests as defined above and with an interest, additional training and practice experience to include the broad range of gynecologic, medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric and trauma emergencies.
