SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Medical or paramedical degree (nurse, midwife)
Master in Public Health is a plus
At least 2 years working experience in humanitarian context
Project management and coordination experience
Capacity building experience
Pharmacy management experience
Skills and qualities required
Willing to work in challenging situations in a highly fluctuating context and constant need to adapt
Good communication and diplomacy skills
Analytical skills and positive working attitude
Knowledge of procedures of institutional donors (OFDA, ECHO, AAP, UN agencies, etc.)
Organisation and ability to manage priorities
Proactive approach to making proposals and identifying solutions
Ability to integrate into the local environment, taking account of its political, economic and historical characteristics
Languages
Fluent English
Arabic and/or Farsi and/or Serbian would be an asset

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the general coordinator, the medical coordinator will be responsible for the following main activities in order to ensure the delivery of quality care.
The main responsabilties are:
Program: ensure quality and relevance of MdM projects
Monitoring and evaluation: ensure reporting though a well implemented monitoring and evaluation system
Logistics and pharmacy: ensure quality of pharmacy management and respect of logistic procedures
Human resources and capacity building: manage MdM medical team, ensure capacity building of MdM staff and key actors
Administration: ensure MdM activities comply with administrative procedures and participate in budget follow up
External representation: represent the association and coordinate with partners, authorities and local stakeholders involved in implementing medical and MHPSS (Mental Health Psycho Social Support) intervention
Strategy: perform health and MHPSS situation analysis using program data and any other relevant indicators and contribute to strategy design
Safety: ensure safety of property and people
